Valentines Day

Valentines Day... A valid excuse to buy My Baby more presents! :) This year he got Buzz Lightyear wings, cup and candy. All which he was very excited for. He flies around the house all the time saying "Buzz Lightyear to the rescue, vroom!".

This picture was taken in the morning... Hence his Buzz P.J's

Yay, Gifts!!

Snow Day

What a fun day in the snow! Landyn missed school and we played in the snow 3 times throughout the day. Once he went outside- side (that's how Landyn says it) he didn't want to come back inside! He loved throwing snowballs at me and eating the snow! When Daddy came home from work they enjoyed making a snowman, Landyn named him Foot. :) What a treat for Texas.

Merry Christmas, baby!

We really enjoyed Christmas with Landyn this year! He was so excited to rip open all his gifts and even give gifts to family and friends. I will say he surprised us with his favorite gifts. It was the smallest of gifts he wouldn't put down. His two favorite were Mickey Mouse undies MamaMa gave him and a bubble gun Gran-Gran and Pa -Pa gave him. I especially had a lot of fun dressing him up in different Christmas outfits throughout the month :). Above are a few of my many favorite.

Happy Birthday Landyn!!

My Lil Landyn is now 2yrs old, well, actually, 2years 3months. Where did the time go?? He is still talking about his "Firetruck Birthday Party". We had a total blast! We had 21 of his closest buddies there to celebrate at Kiddin' Around. We even had the Coppell Firetruck make an appearance. I sure hope he doesn't forget this one! :)

Since he has turned 2, he has had an explosion of sentences and phrases! Here are a few of his favorite:

  • Baby - After any sentence he will add, BABY. For instance, "My Mommy's pretty, Baby", or during Christmas he would say, "Merry Christmas, Baby!".
  • Holy Cow or Holy Moly! - We have no idea where he got this one from?
  • Aww Man!!
  • I need! - Instead of asking for something he NEEDS it! He will sometimes add a finger point.
  • I have _blank_ at home. -According to Landyn, he has everything at home.
  • Will you play with me, Mommy/Daddy, pppleeease? - Who can say no to this?
  • I Loove Yoou!! followed by a huge hug and Pppleeease!! - This is usually said after we have told him "No" to something and he won't give up. Hate to say... He usually gets his way :) (only on little stuff)

I know there are so many more but that's all I can think of at the moment. Two is such a fun age and I am enjoying every minute of it! Everyday he surprises me with new phrases and behavior. I just love it! :)

Hello, Hello!

It's been entirely way too long since my last blog! I'm going to take the time to slowly catch up. Here it goes...

Swim lessons

Here's a few pics and video from Landyn's swim lessons. He didn't exactly learn how to float or swim like I had hoped but he overcame his fear of the water. It was funny b/c when the instructor told him to blow bubbles he would just splash him in the face.

FREEZE!

Landyn has this hilarious face that he makes when we say "FREEZE!" I have been trying for so long to capture this on camera and have finally succeeded. It cracks us up b/c every single time any body says freeze he will make this face. It all started when I changed his diaper, realized I forgot the wipes, and told him to freeze. This happened a few times and he added his facial expression every time. Now we just say it randomly to get a good laugh.

Him doing it without turning his eyes ( like he usually does).

Turning his eyes without hand motion.

He also likes dressing up. As you can see from his Robin costume. On this day he was running around the house with his arms up in the air (acting like he was flying) and saying Batman! I'm not sure how he knows Batman seeing how we don't watch it on tv. I guess it's just a boy thing.
