Ready for the Pool

My lil swimmer was all decked out in his swimwear!

Fire Staton

We took a tour of the Coppell Fire Station. Whew.. It was more like a work out for me! Landyn was ALL over the place! He didn't care too much to see the inside of the station (That is where the tour first started). He kept trying to run out where the trucks were. He was pointing and saying "Uk Uk" for truck. When I finally got him back inside he spotted some bananas ( his absolute favorite). It was a challenge to keep him from ripping into one. When it was finally time to go look at the trucks he was excited! He enjoyed climbing all over them and touching all the buttons. I think he was surprised I was allowing him to get into everything. Then when it came time for pictures he was not having it. He let me know too. Every time I got the camera out to snap a pic he would say "No" and put his head down. What a lil booger! I didn't give up and got a few good ones.
This is my favorite. It looks like he is smiling.

This is him and his buddy Christian.
Trying the boots on.. I couldn't get him to look up.

The Wiggles

We went to The Wiggles Play Center in Frisco with his buddy Christian. They had a blast although it was difficult to keep the two together. There was so much going on and it was very loud. It was pretty much a free for all. Landyn was running around everywhere and enjoyed getting into everything.

This is my crazy boy having fun!

Ball Pit.. Balls are his absolute favorite thing!!

Doesn't he look so sweet and innocent in this picture? Keyword.. "Look"... Lol He is very sweet just not so sure about innocent. :)

Eating Habits

Yay... Landyn is finally starting to eat better! He is such a picky eater and for a while just refused to eat. Now he is up to try mostly anything (although still prefers junk). This is a picture of him eating a subway sandwich. It was mine until he decided he liked it. The sandwich was turkey, lettuce, pickles (he picked the pickles out and sucked the juice out), black olives, cheese, and mustard. I was happy to see that he enjoyed it. His first real sandwich...

He also has great table manners. He says "eeease" for please. It is the cutest thing b/c he gives you the sweetest face (along with the sign). How can I ever say no? He also says "tink yoo" for thank you (along with the sign). It just melts my heart. And everytime he is finished eating, he puts all his unwanted food on his plate, puts the plate on the counter, and does the sign for all done. Then I give him a wipee to clean his hands and face... My lil boy is growing up. he he..

Mother's Day

I just LOVE him in these little Jon Jon outfits. I know.. I know... he is probably going to hate these pics when he gets older. Eee.. Lets hope not!

This is a picture of Landyn all dressed up on Mother's day. James took him to lunch with Gran-Gran and Papa ( I stayed home sick). Landyn apparently had a blast! He came home with chocolate and hot pink candy stains on his outfit. And he ate a PB&J sandwich (he's never had peanut butter) chocolate covered strawberries and marshmellows. James said he loved it and had no idea he never had PB&J. Luckily, the candy stains came out of his outfit, and he didn't break out from the peanut butter. Thank goodness!

Shark Teeth

So, I took Landyn to the Dentist a few weeks ago. I was concerned b/c his incisor tooth hasn't come in. I have heard they come in pairs and he is missing one (or was) . Turns out the reason it was taking so long to come in is b/c he has TWO possibly THREE teeth trying to come into that ONE spot!! My poor baby... No wonder he has been so cranky, his lil mouth is in pain!! To make matters worse she didn't see a permanent tooth bud in that spot(she took an Xray). Yikes! She basically told me to expect extensive treatment in the future and not to worry about his extra teeth (one which is rotated) b/c his full lips will cover them. Thanks!

On the positive side, since the dental visit, Landyn is so much better about letting me brush his teeth. Before he would squirm and whine. Now he says toothpaste and does the sign for brushing his teeth. And I'm able to get the job done! At least something good came from the visit. :)
